January 1st, 2010 2:44 am Billboard Chart positions [ ] paramoremusic [linda_mah] for the past few weeks, Brand New Eyes has actually been climbing up the Billboard album chart. their lowest was #105, and now they are back up to #63. Brick By Boring Brick debuted on the Rock Songs chart this week at #45. Ignorance was actually the first Paramore song ever to make the Rock Songs chart, so it's awesome that with this album they are reaching new markets. (the rock chart is based on radio play on dedicated rock stations, rather than alternative rock stations which Paramore has always done well with). BBBB is #25 on its 5th week on the Alternative Songs chart. it debuted at #33 and has gone up every week :) Even though it just came out in September, Brand New Eyes is the #113 biggest-selling album of the year this year overall, the #29 rock album, and the #20 alternative album. 6 taking the airwaves back | take it back?

December 31st, 2009 3:09 pm production [ ] paramoremusic [mr_raccoon] There is this article from Mix (a professional sound production magazine) that had a interview with the guys who did the front-of-house engineer and monitor engineer stuff for Paramore from the tour they just did. The article goes into detail about what equipment and production they used for that tour. Some of the details include how they have microphones out in the audience so Hayley can hear the audience though the in-ears, why the production team records the audio from all of the concerts and even why Zac has problems keeping his in-ears on.
